Ailbhe Darcy is an Irish poet living in Cardiff. Her first collection was Imaginary Menagerie (Bloodaxe, 2011), shortlisted for a Shine Strong Award. Her second is Insistence (Bloodaxe, 2018), out in May. Poems from it have appeared in POETRY, Poetry Ireland Review and Poetry Wales. 

Steven Hitchins’ books include Bitch Dust (Boiled String, 2012), The White City (Aquifer, 2015) and Ilan (Stranger Press, forthcoming in 2018). He runs The Literary Pocket Book press, publishing contemporary experimental poetry in miniature origami editions (, and organises Canalchemy, a walking poetry performance series at locations along the route of the erased Glamorganshire canal (
