Hay Poetry Jamboree

PW at Hay

Hay Poetry Jamboree ran from June 3rd-5th, at Oriel Contemporary Art Gallery in Hay-on-Wye, with readings, interactive events, lectures, art and film.

Poetry Wales Editor Zoë Skoulding appeared on June 5th, with Randolph Healy, Ian Davidson, Jean Portante, Carol Watts, Kathryn Ashill, The Quantum Brothers, and more…

Other performers over the three days included Robert Minhinnick, Childe Roland (aka Peter Meilleur), Susie Wild, Keri Finlayson, Scott Thurston, Anthony Mellors, Claudia Azzola, Samantha Rhydderch, John Goodby, Geraldine Monk, Alan Halsey, Phil Maillard, Ric Hool, Richard Gwyn, Elisabeth Bletsoe and Caroline Bergvall.

Triple Launch with Poetry Wales

Thursday, May 6, 2010, Bangor:  Poetry Wales is pleased to present a triple launch event at the Blue Sky Cafe, High Street, Bangor, 7:30pm. Admission free.
Camille Martin, a Toronto poet and collage artist with a Cajun/Acadian heritage, will be launching her new collection Sonnets (Shearsman).
Ian Davidson, Senior Lecturer in the School of English at Bangor University, will be reading from his new book Into Thick Hair (Wild Honey Press).
And the new issue of Poetry Wales – our special edition focusing on Poetry and the Visual – will be on sale.
