Congratulations Maggie Harris, Roy McFarlane and John Davies!
We are delighted to announce the three winners of Wales Poetry Award 2020. Maggie Harris, Roy McFarlane and John Davies were awarded 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize respectively. The winners were announced live on Zoom by judge Pascale Petit at our online prizegiving ceremony.
Wales Poetry Award 2020’s highly commended poets were also announced: Oliver Jones, Anna Forbes, Rowland Bagnall, Kathy Miles, Helen Kay, Dominic Fisher and Natalie Crick. Anna Forbes and Rowland Bagnall both had two poems commended.
A recording of the event, including readings from the highly commended poets, will be uploaded to YouTube in the next few days.
